2. Mid C18. Painted brick on left-hand side, red brick on right. 3 storeys; 4 sash windows in moulded architraves (no glazing bars to No 56; early C19 glazing bars to No 55); quoins; brick band; rainwater-head with initials; moulded stone eaves. Modern shop front to No 56. No 55 has late C18 double bow shop window with central door. Mid C19 glazing with turned columns. Nos 50 and 51. Swan Inn and Nos 53 to 57 (consec) form a group
