Former Baptist Chapel, c.1831. Roughly-coursed limestone rubble with
squared quoins and dressed voussoirs; gabled slate roof of diminishing
courses; stone left end stack. Rectangular plan. Simplified Gothic
Revival style. One storey; 4-bay range. Two - centred pointed arches
with voussoirs over double doors with glazing bars to overlight set in
typanum and over 2-light windows with colonettes to shouldered heads with
brattished cornice and glazing bars to tympanae windows. Plank door to
left gable end and original privy attached to rear left. Interior: plain,
with later C19 seating and cast-iron fireplace. (RCHM, Nonconformist
