House, now shops. C17, re-modelled 1707 (datestone), extended early C19 with considerable later additions and alterations, chiefly of late C20. Rendered timber frame and brick, slate roof. Hall and cross-wing with early C19 hip-roofed projection added at right-angles to left of hall range. Two storeys with toothed eaves cornice to C19 projection; gable of cross-wing has late C20 casements to first floor and contemporary shop front below, late C20 shop front also to C19 projection; tall rendered ridge stack to right of able. Passageway to right has chamfered spine beams.

Interior: former rear wall of gable has richly moulded bressumer with run-out stops sawn off to left to provide space for late C20 staircase; exposed purlins and wall-posts to first floor of gable but roof trusses plastered over at time of re-survey (August 1985).
