13/41 Nos. 16 to 20 (even) - including warehouse attached to rear GV II

Terrace of 3 houses, now shops. Early C19 with later additions and alterations. Red brick, rendered to centre and painted to right, slate roof with ridge and internal end stacks partly concealed by coped parapet. 3 storeys; moulded stone eaves cornice; 6-window front, 3 closely spaced 16-paned glazing bar sashes with plain lintels to No. 20 (left), 2 plate-glass sashes (glazing bar sashes above) to No. 18 (centre) and tripartite sash with triglyphs and metopes on stuccoed lintel to No. 16 (right); C20 shop fronts throughout with late C19 iron bracket for sign to No. 16. 2-storey L-shaped warehouse range at right-angles to rear of No. 16 has tall rectangular block to short arm, pyramidal slate roof, dentilled eaves cornice and round-headed multi-paned cast-iron windows.
