Farmhouse. C17 with considerable later additions and alterations. Timber- framed with plastered infilling and uncoursed limestone rubble; slate roofs, large integral axial stack behind ridge and brick end stack to left. Originally of 3 framed bays, the house has been extended by additions to the left, right and rear, probably in mid C19, when it was also largely stone clad and the roof raised. 2 storeys; four 3-light casements, those to ground floor with cambered heads; entrances to right under C19 cambered brick arch and through part timber-framed porch between second and third bays from left. In the rear wall rectangular panelling with short tension braces has been exposed. Internally much of the structural framing remains and the principal rafters of the original roof pitch are visible.
