9/135 The Bridge Inn -

Farmhouse, now inn. Probably early C19 with later additions and alterations. Uncoursed sandstone rubble with alternating angle quoins; slate roofs, main section with coped verges and carved stone kneelers. 2 storeys and attic; horned glazing bar sashes with plain stone lintels to left and right of roughly central entrance with eared architrave and half-glazed double doors. 2 gabled eaves dormers with C20 casements. Integral end stacks to left and right and to right of contemporary parallel gabled range to rear have red brick shafts. Slightly set-back lean-to to left is probably contemporary or slightly later and has doorway with rectangular overlight and horned glazing bar sash to front. C20 flat-roofed addition attached to rear range is not of special architectural interest.
