Details
GLANTON THE CAUSEWAY Nu 0714 (South side) Glanton Village 21/192 Garden walls to south of Glanton House GV II
Garden walls, dated 1740 on lintel of doorway on west. Squared rubble with cut dressings. Walls enclosing long rectangular garden; pitched coping, sloped down at south end of east side and of south side. On each side a boarded door in an irregular stone surround.
Out-curved northern section of west wall is later rebuild; and not of special interest.
Included for group value with Glanton House (q.v.).
