6/132 Engine house and - attached chimney approx. loom south- west of Maison Bleu

Engine house and attached chimney. Mid- to late C19. Roughly coursed limestone rubble with red brick dressings; slate roof: chimney, red brick with yellow brick dressings on roughly coursed limestone rubble base. 2 levels; C19 multi-paned casements to front, one to either side of boarded door, with similar casement on first floor to right gable end. Chimney is square in section and has round-headed brick arch to left. Interior: inspection not possible at time of resurvey (December 1985) but said to retain original boiler, a twin-tube Lancashire version, in situto right part of engine house. Maison Bleu is not included in this list. Salop County Sites and Monuments Record; PRN 1308.
