5/46 Cow house, pigsties, - small shed and linking wall approximately 10 metres to west of Cronkhill
GV II
Cow house and pigsties, the latter disused. Early C19. Red brick (monk bond) and stone hinge blocks; slate roofs, hipped over cow houses. One storey. Cow house to left. 4 segmental-headed boarded doors alternating with segmental-headed wooden slatted windows and large boarded door to centre. 4 pigsties to right with segmental-headed openings and stone-coped square pens with boarded gates. Small shed adjoining at right-angles to right with boarded door in gable end. Interior not inspected, but likely to contain early C19 fittings and fixtures. The southern end of the cow house has been rebuilt in the late C20. These buildings form part of a complete early and mid-C19 model farm complex.
