SJ 31 SE ALBERBURY WITH EYTON CARDESTON C.P. 5/43 Upper Eyton - Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C19. Roughly squared and coursed Alberbury breccia and red sandstone with red sandstone quoins and red brick dressings; slate roof. L-plan. 3 storeys with 2-storey rear wing. Dentil brick eaves cornice; external stone end stack to left with red brick top; integral brick end stack to right, and integral brick end stack to rear wing. 3 bays; glazing bar sashes with painted lintels; second floor with 3-light wooden casements flanking central segmental-headed 2-light wooden casement; central half-glazed door (2 beaded flush lower panels and 6 panes above) with panelled reveals (flush below and sunken above) and soffit, reeded architrave with paterae at corners, moulded cornice, and flat porch with square columns. Interior not inspected but noted as having panelled window shutters.
