Shown on O.S. map as Brookside House.
Farmhouse. Probably C17 with later additions and alterations. Rendered
and painted brick probably concealing timber frame, plain tile roof.
Roughly L-shaped plan with 2-storey range at right-angles to rear on right
and 2 projecting gables to front. 2 storeys; windows all C20 casements,
one on each floor to gables and with a full dormer to right, which, like
the gables, has carved bargeboards and pointed finial; further windows
beneath dormer and on ground floor to left of left-hand gable; entrance
to left of right-hand gable under C20 gabled porch; prominent ridge stack
re-built in late C19 yellow brick slightly to right of centre.
