Cottage. Probably C16 extended late C20. Timber-framed, partly of cruck
construction with painted brick infill, plinth and additions; plain tile
roof. Present L-plan comprising original 2 or 3-bay structure extended
to right in late C20 with contemporary brick range to rear on right.
One storey and attic. Framing: square and rectangular panels, two from
cill to wall-plate with larger panels and one straight brace to left gable
end. Four C20 casements to C16 part with gabled dormer in roof slope;
C20 glazed door and casement to extension to right. C20 external end
stack to left and small ridge stack at junction between timber framed
and C20 part. Interior. Not inspected but noted as having one true
cruck truss. Alcock (1981), p. 143.
