House, now shop. Timber framed, partly refaced or partly rebuilt in
painted brick. Boarded gable to front and rendered gable to rear.
Plain tile roof. 2 framed bays at right angles to road. 2 storeys
and attic. Jettied gable to front with quarter-round moulded bressumer.
Plain barge boards. Integral lateral brick stacks to left and right
(left-hand stack rebuilt above roof c.1900). C19 first-floor 3-light
wooden casement. Projecting early C20 shop-front with plate-glass
windows, curved around corner to right; glazed door off-centre to left.
Interior: roof with chamfered purlins and straight wind braces. First-
floor rear room with 2 chamfered ceiling beams and framed rear wall
with angle braces. Other visible framing including post and wall plate.
Old floor boards.
