Detached cottage. C16/C17 and later. Local lias stone cut and squared; thatched roof with plain gables; reconstructed stone end chimney stacks. Two storeys; 4 bays, of which the 2 west bays are later. Casement windows to bays 1 and 2,
4-light below and 5-light above, of early patterns, the upper windows leaded; bays 3 and 4 have C20 sash-pane casements, with a French window lower bay 3; raked buttress between 1 and 2, then a boarded door in early triangular arched heavy timber frame. Interior not seen, but reported are an internal cambered-arched doorway, wide fireplaces; 4-bay moulded beam ceiling to hall; a plank and muntin partition, relocated; spiral stone staircase, etc. (VAG Report, 5RO Unpublished, !9731.
