LANGPORT CP BOW STREET (South side) ST4126 10/90 - The Dolphin Inn II -
Inn. Early C19 front to older building. Brick facade in English garden wall bond, remainder lias stone rubble, all colourwashed; clay pantiled roof hipped at east end, with plain west gable; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Sash windows of 16 panes in plain openings with gauged brick flat heads; central semi-circular arched doorway into which is set pair aid C20 part-glazed doors. Interior not seen. Dolphin Inn first mentioned 1778 (VCH, vol III, 1974).
