Cottage. Probably C18, with early and late C20 modifications. Local stone cut squared and coursed, exposed timber lintols to ground floor; concrete double Roman tiles replacing thatch; brick end and central chimney stacks. Single-storey with attic, 4 bays. Entrance door between bays 2 and 3, probably early C20 door with flat timber hood on heavy brackets. 2-light casement windows, 3-light to bay 4, with small leaded panes; lower window to bay 4 has older casement window with iron opening light; upper windows set into raked dormers. Forms picturesque group at end of village with Weir Cottage (qv).
