Two gamekeepers cottages, now one house. Dated 1835. Local stone squared
and coursed, pecked finish; Welsh slate roof between coped gables; brick
end chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 3-bays, with entrances in gable walls.
2-light casement windows in plain openings with voussoired flat arches,
the lower window to bay 2 being later, off centre and has cement
surround. Under centre upper window a Ham stone carved plaque with arms
of John Goodford of Chilton Cantelo and date 1835. Horizontal sliding
sash windows in gable walls. John Goodford died 1835.
