Front boundary wall and entrance gateway to High Barn

Gateway and front boundary wall. Early C19. Wall of local stone cut and
squared, with thin coping of good projection, 2.2 metres high, sweeping
down to 1.5 metres either side of gateway. Gateway mostly Ham stone, 2.2
metres high, with rectangular piers on either side of pointed archway
surmounted by coping, a miniature pediment and fleur-de-lys finial.
Boarded wooden gate. Of visual importance both to the house and the
corner of the village where the house stands (qv).
