6/107 Hunt monument in churchyard, against west wall of south transept, Church of St Mary the - Virgin
GV II
Chest tomb with railings. Early C19. Ham stone, wrot iron. Tall moulded plinth; panelled sides, one each end and two each flank, with fluted Ionic pilasters, no frieze moulded coving to shallow hipped top. Monument enclosed by wrot- iron railings with necked spear points set on shallow stone plinth. Commemorates John Hunt, died 1824.
