Cottage. Late C18. Ham stone rubble, exposed timber lintels; thatched; central brick chimney stack. One-storey with attic, 3 irregular bays. Timber casement windows; wide single liqht of C20 to bay-1, 3-light bay-2, then half-glazed door in plain surround; above and to bay-3 older 3- light casement set into thatch. The Northern corner rounded to follow course of lane. Interior not seen. Adjoins, on West, Higher Burton Farmhouse (qv).
