15/10 Unidentified chest tomb, in churchyard about 11 metres east of chancel, Church of St John the Baptist -

GV II

Chest tomb. Possibly early C17, largely obscured by ivy at time of survey (May 1984), Sandstone. Flat topped, steeply chamfered cornice about 230 mm deep. Forms part of a group of interesting chest tombs in churchyard.
