Cottage. C17, extensively altered early C20. Rough cast over rubble, asbestos slate roof half hipped to right, brick stack gable end left. Plan: originally 2 cell, no cross passage, now enlarged. One and a half storeys, all windows C20, one 2-light dormer, groundfloor 3-light, 2-light and C20 glazed door with roughcast raking buttresses between. 3-light casement windows on one bay right return, flat roofed single storey additions left return and rear. Interior: groundfloor chamfered beams with runout steps. The main interest of this house is the one large exposed jointed cruck truss on the first floor, perhaps reused from earlier building.
