The Blue Boar Inn

2. Built 1691 for Theophilus Lacey (Deeds). Possibly earlier fabric. Many later alterations. Built of coursed rubble. Modern pantile roof, end chimneys, the right hand one stone. 2 gabled dormers. 2 storeys, 3 windows, C19 sashes in architraves, paired to ground floor left-hand side. Plain central door opening. Panelled pier to left-hand side on moulded plinth (part of earlier structure). Projecting wrought iron inn sign with painted board. 2 storey extension over river with 2 paired sashes on 1st floor.
