Paired attached houses. C16, refronted and remodelled late C18. Doulting rubble, flush dressed quoins, double-Roman tile half hipped mansard roofs, 2 brick stacks. L shaped facade. Two storeys, 2:3 bays, number 3 to right with paired casements in plain stone surrounds with central stone dividing mullion, except Venetian window to centre of first floor, sash windows with glazing bars, emphasised keystone. Central door opening in bead moulded stone surround, 6-panelled door, top 2 panels glazed, decorative transom light; C20 half glazed porch with double-Roman tile roof, panelled door. Number one in conforming style, sash windows with glazing bars in bead moulded stone surrounds, Venetian window to left of first floor. Door opening in plain stone surround with keystone, flat stone hood on moulded stone brackets, altered half glazed and panelled late C18 door. Left return radiused, one bay, paired sash windows in bead moulded stone surround, stone dividing mullion to first floor, 2 light bead moulded stone mullioned window to attic. Late C19 shop front to ground floor, broad 6-pane windows flanking double plank doors; narrow faciaboard overall. Number one contains deeply chamfered and stopped ceiling bead to left ground floor rood, late C18 alcove cupboard; room to right contains broad open fireplace with wooden lintel.
