Two houses. C17 altered early C19. Random rubble, some roughcast, concrete imitation stone slate and asbestos sheet roof in 3 differing pitches, uneven eaves height; irregular facade. Two storeys, four bays, casements to first floor, first and third ovolo-moulded of the C17, second of C19, fourth of metal of C20; two pairs of narrow sash windows with glazing bars of C19 on ground floor, wide C20 9-light opening in C19 style to right. Door opening to number 49 virtually central reached by 2 stone steps, edge roll moulded stone surround with relieving arch in wall above, C20 panelled door. Entrance to 47 to rear. Primarily included for group value with other buildings on Goose Street.
