GV II
House. c1690, altered mid C19 and refurbished c1980. Thin coursed rubble with interlocking clay tile roof. Double fronted single depth house with contemporary full width outshut. Entrance off centre probably indicating original direct entry to left hand room. Two storeys and attic, outshut two storeys. 2 windows, 4 paned C19 type plate glass sashes but in the original or only little modified squat openings in blocked rendered surrounds. Four panel door, upper two glazed, in blocked rendered surround, all features are modern replicas. Two dormers with 2 light casements. Brick gable stack to left. Outshut with 3 light casement window under timber lintel to right, glazed dormer to left, two 2 light casements above. Interior said to contain (RCHM) a bolection moulded fireplace and some early C18 joinery, butt purlin roof, but interior not inspected.
A little altered late C17 house with good group value.
