Lime kiln. C19. Coursed and squared rubble. Large square structure, square on plan, flat top with retains of thin iron railings, hoist. Concave draw-hole at base. Lean-to attached to front is not of special interest. Stands on the site of a former quarry. An important and complete industrial survival.
