GV II

Ornamental bridge over river. Late C18. Coursed and squared rubble; large central horseshoe-elliptical archway with rough hewn voussoirs; circular opening to each side; string at base of parapet; parapet with dressed coping. Part of a romantic landscape. (Country Life, March 23, March 30, and April 6, 1945).
