Inn. Early C19, C20 alterations. Colourwashed pebbledash, parapet with moulded stone coping obscured by a C20 gutter, pantile roof, 2 end brick ridge stacks, that to right surmounting a coped verge, that to left on a rendered base. Three storeys, 3 bays, 2 flat-roofed canted bay windows to ground floor, a casement with glazing bars to each face, 12-pane flush mounted sash windows to first floor, 2 and 3-light wooden casements to second floor. Central door opening, 6-panelled door, top 2 panels glazed; flat wooden hood on moulded brackets, small circular 4-light window to left of door opening. Concrete forecourt retaining wall, central double flight of steps with plain wrought iron railings incorporating 4 small ball finials. C20 lettering across frontage at first floor level:- "NEW INN". Attached to Bowyer House (qv).
