CHOLSEY CAPS LANE (South side) SU58NE Blackalls Farmhouse 2/61 - II
Farmhouse. Probably early C18 with late C18 front. Grey brick with red brick dressings; Welsh slate roof; brick end stack to right, brick stack to rear left. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. 6-panel double-leaf door to square porch on stone Ionic columns with cornice. 20-pane unhorned sashes to all openings except 16-pane unhorned sash to first floor centre. 3 gabled dormers with 2-light casements. Interior: ovolo moulded spine beams to ground floor. C18 corner cupboard with half-domed top, and C18 carved wood fireplace to ground floor left.
