CROWMARSH MONGEWELL SU68NW 2/22 Former Church of St. John the 09/02/59 Baptist

Church now ruin. Probably C12. Nave and chancel; remodelled in 1791 and restored 1880 by L. Wyatt. Flint with stone dressings; brick buttresses to nave. Brick tower; plain tile roof to chancel. Nave, chancel and west tower. Gothick tower has round base and hexagonal battlemented top. (Buildings of Enqland; Oxfordshire, p.711-2).
