WALLINGFORD CASTLE STREET SU6089NE (West side) 10/67 (Formerly listed as Nos.9, 10, 09/12/49 11 and 12) GV II
House. Early C18. Painted render to plinth; red brick with flared headers in Flemish bond; old plain-tile roof; rendered brick end stack to right. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. 6-panel door with C20 moulded wood surround to centre. C20 twelve-pane unhorned sashes with C20 false cambered brick heads to left and right. Shaped brick band, broken over door, between ground and first floors. Three 12-pane unhorned sashes with painted wood architrave surrounds and cambered brick heads to first floor. 2 gabled full dormers with 2-light casements. Right return: banded limestone rubble and knapped flint. Interior not inspected.
