1/99 Gates, gatepiers and walls abutting about 5 on either side at entrance to The Vicarage -
GV II
Gates, gatepiers and walls. Early C19. Gate piers: ashlar, moulded plinth, recessed panels, segmental gables and ball finial; walls abutting: ashlar fronted brick, curved in plan, chamfered plinth, flat coping with cavetto moulded cornice, about 1.25 m high and 5 m in length. Double gates: cast iron, trefoil headed gabled uprights, quatrefoil decorated frieze across centre. Forms part of good group with The Vicarage (qv) and Church of St George (qv).
