GV II
Walls enclosing garden and kitchen garden beyond. Mid C18. Red sandstone random rubble approximately 3 metres high extending approximately 60 metres West of the rear elevation of Halse Manor Hospital (q.v.), and 50 metres wide, coping of triple Roman tiles South, flat tiles North and stone coping West. Kitchen garden at West end masked by ramped wall with square headed doorways, with rusticated voussoirs left and right, centre a gazebo of random rubble with 3 pointed arch openings, ramped parapet, slate lean-to roof at rear projecting into kitchen garden. Wall to South enbanking terrace walkway is pierced by flight of steps C20.
