Details

OTTERDEN BUNCE COURT ROAD TQ 95 SW (west side) 5/246 Upper Stables Flat, Lower Stables Flat, stable and storerooms circa 35 yards south west of Otterden Place GV II Outbuilding, possibly stables, now flats and stable. Mid C16 and C18. Red brick in English bond to lower part, Flemish bond with occasional grey headers above. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys on brick plinth. Coped gable to south. Small red brick ridge stack towards left (north). 3 hipped, probably C20, dormers. Irregular fenestration of one 6-light first-floor casement and two 2-light ground-floor casements, latter with segmental heads. 3 doors with segmental heads; one boarded to stable at right end,one boarded with 2 top lights adjacent to left, and one similar to left of centre with round-headed hood on carved consoles added late C20. Wooden cupola with clock, bell and weathervane to left. C18 brick addition to left. Interior -not inspected.
