LENHAM MAIDSTONE ROAD TQ 8952 (north side)

10/208 Nos. 2,4,6, and 6A (even) 18.3.75. GV II House row. Early C19 facade to a probably earlier building. Right half of ground floor now printed brick, left half channelled stucco. Fishscale tiles to first floor. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attics on plinth. Roof half-hipped to left. 2 brick ridge stacks. 5 eaves dormers with trefoiled bargeboards. Irregular fenestration of 5 windows; 2 long rectangular 12-pane sashes to left half, 2 horizontally-sliding sashes and one C20 casement to right half. 4 panelled doors with flat bracketted hoods; one to No. 6A to left of left stack, one to no. 6 to right of left stack, and those to Nos. 4 and 2 adjacent under right stack. Further, boarded door to No. 6A in left gable end. Narrow 2-storey rear lean-tos to left half of row. Interiors not inspected.
