The core is probably C18 but it has been given a Spanish appearance in the C20.
5 sections. The centre section is of 4 storeys stuccoed with bracket cornice.
3 sashes with glazing bars intact. 1st floor colonnade of 6 Tuscan columns.
Entrance on 1st floor level approached up a flight of stone steps. This is flanked
by portions of 3 storeys stuccoed having 3 sashes with glazing bars and shaped
gable with pantiled roof. These are in turn flanked by wings of 3 storeys with
parapet, 4 sashes with glazing bars intact and projecting iron balconies. Round-headed
windows to ground floor.

West Wedge, West House, West Lawn, Spanish House and The Wedge form a group with Nos 30 to 34 (consec).
