LAUGHTON MAIN STREET Wall in the churchyard to the north, south and west of the Church of St Luke

GV II

Mud wall. C19, restored 1976. Mud, chopped straw and small stones on pebble and ironstone rubble plinth. Thatched roof covering. One length c 2 metres high runs for c 38 m on west side of churchyard and returns for c 10 m east. Remains of former slaughter house incorporated on its west side. Another length c 2½ m high runs for c 39 m on south side of churchyard. Doorway at west end.
