WELLINGORE CLIFF ROAD SK 95 NE (west side) 1/67 Home Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. Mid C17 and late C18. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. Pantile roof with ashlar coped gables. A single ridge and 2 gable brick stacks. Flush ashlar quoins. L-plan. 2-storey plus garret. East, street front has off-centre doorway with C19 panel door and wooden pilaster surround with plain entablature, to the left a 3-light sliding sash under a segment headed wedge lintel, and to the right a similar window in a chamfered surround with hood mould. Above to the left another similar window under a segment headed wedge lintel and to the right a 4-light ovolo mullion window in chamfered surround with a hood mould. Above in the gable a similar 3-light mullioned window. The north front has two 3-light C20 casement and above a 2-light and a 3-light C20 casement. The west gable has 2 single light windows in chamfered surrounds with hood moulds, one now blocked. The south front has a doorway to the right, with a 4-centred arch moulded surround and a hood mould, to the left a double 3-light ovolo mullion window in chamfered surround with a hood mould. Above a similar 4-light mullion window, flanked by similar single light windows all with hood moulds.
