TF 0746: TF 04 NE EASTGATE (South Side) 3/104A: 9/104A Coggesford Mill and Mill Race and Bridge (formerly listed as part of Coggesford Mill: Coggesford Mill Farm- II GV house)
Watermill for grinding corn. Mid C18 with early C19 additions and alterations. Coursed limestone rubble and red brick ashlar dressings. Pantile roofs. External stack 2 storey. The ground floor C18, the upper floor rebuilt C19. West front has an off-centre doorway with plank door, flanked by small case- ment windows, above the door a loft doorway partly filled by a sliding sash to the right another sliding sash. Attached to the north a C19 lean-to shed. Under the southern section the leer has a shallow brick arch. To the south the stepped mill race has brick side walls, now capped with engineering brick. To the west is an attached shallow brick arched foot bridge with brick parapets and slightly angled abutments. The mill interior has a large wooden wheel, probably a late C19 copy of the original wheel.

Main part has stone coped gables. 3 dormers. 2 segmental-headed windows and traces of 1 blocked. Later door. Former mill building to river now derelict but said to contain machinery at time of survey (Spring 1973). C18 brick with pantile roof and hoist door and window.
