House. Mid C17 with C19 addition and alteration and minor C20
alterations. Squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and
dressings, concrete tiled roof with raised stone coped gables and
single ridge stack with pair of moulded ashlar stacks with
cornices. C19 red brick extension with pantile roof. L-plan. 2
storey with garret, irregular 3 bay front, in the angle a half
glazed door and glazing bar fixed narrow light in C17 surround
under C20 pent roof. To left a 3 light stone mullioned window,
with dropped cill and cast stone mullions. To right a C20 French
window under timber lintel. To first floor a single 3 light
mullioned window in each wing. The lower red brick C19 wing to
the right has C20 fenestration. In the left hand gable end are
single 2 light mullioned windows to ground and first floors and a
2 light casement to the garret. All mullioned windows have
cornices and ovolo moulded mullions. Interior retains inglenook
fireplaces and chamfered and stopped beams.
