Pair of houses, formerly one. Circa 1900 with later C20 additions.
Probably by Sir R. Blomfield. Coursed and banded ironstone and limestone
rock faced ashlar, ashlar quoins and dressings, stone coped gables with
ball finials, 2 stone ridge stacks with plain tiled roof. T-plan,
West front of two bays, single storey plus attics. Off centre glazed
door with to the left a 3 light casement window, both openings have
flat lintels. Above is a 2 light casement dormer window with tile hung
cheeks and hipped tile roof. Later extension to the left. This house is
in the same vernacular revival style as nearby Caythorpe Court.
