Dated 1903. Three storeys in red brick with pantile roof. Plain brick
parapet with terracotta coping and terminating piers surmounted by ball finials.
Terracotta cornice with band continuing heads of four second-floor windows,
terracotta architraves, hung sashes. Shop front on two floors, that on the
first being of ten arcaded lights with carved spandrels, wood fascia with
triglyphs and with ends gabled to panelled pilasters. Ground floor shop
front has larger arcaded lights with carved spandrels and wood fascia with
small centre pediment over doorway. Polished granite plinth to street front.
Grooved and carved end pilasters. Clock on wrought iron bracket.
Includes part of a group.
Westgate Hotel and Nos. 1 to l3 (consec) form a group.
