Former terrace of 12 estate workers' houses, now terrace of 6. c.1880, altered C20. Rockfaced limestone ashlar, plain tiled roof with overhanging eaves and bargeboard, 6 large panelled red brick ridge stacks with moulded top. 2 storey with attics, 24 bay front comprising 10 blocked doorways having 2 light windows, 2 blank openings to either side of the centre and 12 five light windows. Arranged as paired facades, punctuated by 7 stepped buttresses. To first floor are 12 five light windows. All windows have timber mullions and all openings have ashlar lintels. In the roof are 12 broadly gabled dormers arranged in pairs with weatherboarded fronts and 2 light windows. In the right hand gable a recessed rectangular panel in moulded surround has a blank shield surmounted by a coronet. Cottages built for estate workers on the Grimsthorpe Park Estate.
