House and shop. Early C17 with C19 alterations. Coursed
limestone rubble with ashlar quoins, pantile roof with stone
coped gables, single gable and axial ridge stacks having ashlar
plinths and brick shafts. 2 storey, 3 bay front with off-centre
half glazed door with C19 gabled timber hood with bargeboard on
curved brackets and plain tiled roof, flanked by single C19 3
light casements with further similar window to right, all
having bracketed coved canopies with plain tiled tops. To the
right a half glazed door to post office. To first floor 3 C19 3
light casements under timber lintels. Interior retains large
chamfered girders with shield shaped stops and large moulded
fireplace bressumer to central stack, with roll moulded stop.
