Public. house. C17 with C19 alterations. Squared limestone
rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins. Pantile roof having
raised stone coped gables, single ridge and 2 gable stacks with
stone bases and brick shafts. L-plan. Single storey with
attics, irregular 5 bay front having to right a single planked
door, to left a 3 light plain sash under timber lintel, a half
glazed door and 2 taller 3 light plain sashes under C19 hood
moulds. To the roof at eaves level are 2 gabled 2 light dormers
with rendered cheeks and boarded fronts. Interior retains
chamfered and stopped beams.
