9/35 Barn and stable at Holywell Lodge Farm
G.V. II
Barn, and attached stable with granary over. Early C18. Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins. Concrete tiled roof with raised stone coped gables. Single storey, single bay barn having central doorway now with segmental brick head set in the blocking of the original broad opening. Above to the left a single planked opening and 3 breathers. To left a lower 2 storey stable and granary having small fixed light with segmental stone head and a doorway to first floor approached by a flight of stone steps. Clasped purlin pegged softwood roof. Included for group value only.
