Court Leys Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. 1769. Coursed rubble ironstone, plain tiled roof with stone coped
gables, stone gable stacks with coping. T plan with service block to rear.
2 storey and garret. 3 bay front with quoins. Central doorway with stone
surround and moulded cornice and partially glazed C20 door. 2 single windows
flank door with stone surrounds and moulded cornice and 3 light wood mullion
casements. 3 windows above, two 3-light windows flank 2 light window over door,
all with stone surrounds and wood mullion casements. Datestone above the door
inscribed "T.C. 1769".
