GAYTON LE WOLD GAYTON TF 28 NW 6/26 Gayton Manor House II
House. c.1830 in the Italianate style. Stuccoed, the ground floor rusticated, shallow concrete tiled roof with overhanging eaves on tall moulded brackets. T-plan. 2 storey with garret, 3 bay front, the centre bay advanced and gabled. Plinth, first floor band, moulded band below eaves brackets. Central 4 panelled door flanked by single tall glazing bar sashes. To first floor a tall central window with balcony having decorative wrought ironwork, in plain plastered surround with moulded panel over. Above a semi-circular opening to the garret within the same surround. To either side single glazing bar sashes. All sashes are in plain plaster surrounds. To the side front is a canted bay window.
