COX'S HILL 1. 5315 (South Side) Hickman Hill (Formerly listed as Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School) SK 8190 4/12 4.4.64. II GV

2. Late C18 or early C19. 2 storeys in white painted brick with hipped Welsh slate roof. Front elevation of 5 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, cambered relieving arches, centre one lengthened. Central stone porch of fluted Doric columns and pilasters, entablature with triglyphs, guttae, modillion cornice. Door in panelled reveal with architrave surround. Secondary north elevation has doorway with hood, ribbed pilasters capped by paterae. Modern door.

Hickman Hill, Iron Gates and Gatepiers to the north-west of Hickman Hill form a group.
